Met up with bel, desiree and ashley for some shopping yesterday. The girls have been raving about how great chinatown and bugis are and I thought I'd go check it out with them. It was seriously my first time exploring chinatown and I must say it's actully not bad, there are quite a few shops selling unique and nice stuff. As for bugis street, hmmm, I think there's nothing much besides kids, kids and more kids, not my ideal place to shop at. Had quite alot of fun with the girls exploring chinatown and gossiping about bel and ahem plus chilling out with our kopi, yuan-yang and milo gosong at the hawker. Met up with kevin and kwanghan for dinner and drinks after our shopping trip. Ash recommended this cafe cum bar at Laselle called 15 minutes. I think the food was a little above average though the quantity could have been more. The fries and prawn olio we had were quite good though. The drinks, however was quite a let-down. There wasnt much variety to choose from and I ended up only having a bottle of corona. Ambience wise would have been better if they played nicer songs or have a liveband. Anyhow, the company made up for it so yup, I had a good time (: The service was good too (:
